Let's be blunt, shall we? Going through a break up sucks! There are no two ways about it. However, after the initial shock wears off, you start thinking about how to get your ex girlfriend back. A lot of guides make it sound like it's hard work, but it doesn't have to be. Here some fun ways to help patch things up between the two of you.

Put an ad in the newspaper. You can say anything you want, but keep her in mind when you do. In other words, the ad should be for her benefit, not yours. Also, even though you mean well, it's probably best to not use her real name as it could embarrass her. Feel free, however, to use her nickname. If she doesn't normally read the newspaper, then buy a copy and leave it at her front door. Be sure to open it to the right page, and circle the ad so she can spot it right away.
Tell her you're sorry. Okay, as guys we tend to goof this up. We think it's alright to offer a simple "sorry" and be done with it. But women like apologies to be specific and heartfelt. Put her favorite songs on a CD. This will only work to get your ex girlfriend back if you happen to know what her favorite songs are. If you don't know any of the songs she likes, then that should tell you may have been taking her for granted when you were together. Do your best to find out what her favorite songs are. Oh, and for the record...giving her a CD of your favorite songs is not the same thing.
